ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE?
The Retail Business Leader (our name for Store Managers!) is responsible for translating national strategy within the local store environment to deliver on business objectives. As a commercially astute and forward-thinking innovator, your remit is to drive growth through a clear business plan that includes identifying new opportunities to grow sales, optimise costs and increase our store footprint among the local community. With plenty of autonomy to run a store like your own business, you'll inspire a high performing team culture that delivers a fantastic customer experience.
With 5+ years retail experience and 3+ years managing a retail store, you bring a natural ability to influence, coach and mentor teams. You're passionate about delivering a Fantastic customer experience, it's why you're in retail. You can confidently manage your Store's P&L to deliver targets and drive operational excellence. You facilitate a learning culture to grow the collective capability of your team and build talent strength within your store. If you haven't already completed relevant qualifications (Cert IV Retail or similar), you are willing to do so, as well as invest in ongoing learning opportunities. You're not afraid to have courageous conversations and can navigate challenging situations. You always put the safety of your team and customers above all else and genuinely care about the health and wellbeing of your team.
