ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE?
The Service Desk Team Leader is responsible provisioning of technical expertise relating to the service, support and delivery of existing organisational information systems, software applications and telecommunications. In addition, the Team Leader is to act as a mentor for Service Desk Analysts and assist them with technical and process escalations. This position works closely with the IT Operations Manager to ensure that service requests are responded to and resolved as per Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
In addition to the above, the role also supports all other Information Technology Initiatives whilst actively participating in the Service Delivery of IT projects to internal customers providing 1st and 2nd level support to the FHL customer base.
1-2 years leading a Service Desk team using ITIL methodologies with mentoring capabilities
Thorough knowledge of current MS Office Productivity Suite
Thorough knowledge of current Microsoft Operating Systems (Desktop and Server)
Qualifications in a systems admin role or relevant IT related area
ERP and POS support experience
IT Systems Administration Experience
Experience in the Retail Industry
