We're seeking a skilled and driven Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team at our National Support Office in Chullora. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Finance, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate financial reporting and insights that support our Retail, Distribution, and Lounge Manufacturing business units.

About the Role

As a Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for executing month-end procedures, preparing management reports, and ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards and business control procedures. Your expertise will help enhance our financial reporting processes and provide valuable insights to stakeholders across the business.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Deliver month-end close procedures on time and with precision.
• Prepare and communicate key financial insights to stakeholders.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to drive improvements in forecasting, budgeting, and routine reporting.
• Support major business projects by serving as a Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring financial control and efficient resource utilisation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and controls.
• Assist the Head of Group Finance and senior business leaders with ad hoc requests.
• Mentor team members and support non-financial stakeholders in understanding financial results.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Financial Accounting role.
• Qualifications: Degree in accounting or a related business discipline. CA or CPA qualified (or near completion).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365, TM1, and advanced MS Excel.
• Traits: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. A collaborative spirit and a sense of fun are essential!
