Role Overview
The Digital Business Analyst will analyse business processes, gather and document requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that enhance our omnichannel retail operations.
You will support day-to-day digital projects and website releases, requiring attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, coordination skills, and a positive "can-do" attitude. This hands-on role involves working with all business functions and supporting digital transformation and CX initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements. Build relationships with software development teams and vendors. Support technical delivery and governance of digital projects.
- Understand customer digital needs and drive solutions to enhance their digital experience. Ensure application architecture and integration activities are designed with the customer in mind.
- Translate detailed specifications into design documentation. Support development and technical delivery through unit and integration testing. Maintain a digital architecture blueprint. Ensure service and support incidents are logged and responded to within SLAs.
- Support the development of digital business cases. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
Required Technical Skills
- 3+ years as a Functional Business Analyst in a digital environment (Digital BA experience essential!).
- Prior E-Commerce Experience (SAP, SalesForce, Shopify, Magento Etc)
- Experience with BA principles, tools, and techniques
- Experience with digital technologies and platforms (CMS, CRM, e-commerce, mobile apps)
- Previous project management experience highly regarded (not essential)
- Understanding of Scrum methodology
- Experience in a retail environment, ideally in an omnichannel business also highly regarded!
- Desirable:
- SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) experience
- IIBA certification
- HTML / XML / JavaScript skills
