As the Inventory Supervisor at Fantastic Furniture, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our distribution centre. You'll lead the charge in maintaining accurate stock quantities and locations, overseeing cycle counts, and investigating stock discrepancies whilst collaborating with internal stakeholders within the business to provide insights for continuous improvement. This is a full-time role based in Fairfield East.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a high-performing and engaged Supply Chain team by supporting process compliance and capability.
- Supervise and lead the local inventory team, providing coaching and mentorship for their growth.
- Resolve inventory-related issues promptly and effectively, identifying and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain communication within agreed service level agreements.
- Lead investigations into inventory matters, from discrepancies to customer inquiries.
- Coordinate, resource, and execute stock take initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in inventory and broader distribution centre operations.
Requirements:
- Intermediate experience with ERPs / WMS
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within the Retail/Supply Chain industry.
- Experience working in a Distribution Centre.
- Strong general administrative skills and intermediate Excel proficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated leadership skills an advantage.
- Qualifications in an administrative or supply chain-related field are advantageous.
