With over 80 stores nationwide, we're one of Australia's best-loved furniture and bedding retailers – and we're on the lookout for a detail-driven, proactive Buyers Administration Assistant to join our Products team.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be the organisational heartbeat of our Buying team – providing the support needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, on-time product launches, and seamless collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. From preparing reports and presentations, to managing product samples, to keeping our critical paths on track, you'll play a key role in helping us bring stylish, affordable furniture to homes across Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and maintaining documents, reports, and spreadsheets for seasonal ranges and launches.
- Coordinating product samples for meetings, photoshoots, and presentations (including hands-on assembly).
- Supporting communication with suppliers, including purchase orders and product information requests.
- Maintaining accurate product data, marketing documents, and critical-path timelines.
- Collaborating with Planning, Marketing, eCommerce, and Visual Merchandising teams to share updates and ensure alignment.
- Assisting with promotional planning and seasonal launches.
What We're Looking For
- A keen interest in retail buying, product development, or merchandising.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine willingness to learn.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint a must!).
- HSC Certificate or equivalent (a Certificate or Diploma in Business, Retail, or Design is a plus).
Why You'll Love It Here
At Fantastic, leadership is part of everyone's role. We're committed to being learners, collaborators, and changemakers – and we'll support you to grow, contribute, and make an impact. Alongside a fun, supportive team culture, you'll enjoy:
- Career development opportunities with one of Australia's most loved retailers.
- Staff discounts to make your home as fantastic as our customers'.
- A dynamic, collaborative work environment where your ideas are valued.
If you're ready to kickstart your career in buying and want to be part of a passionate team shaping the future of Australian retail, we'd love to hear from you!
