Job Description
Be part of something Fantastic.
At Fantastic Furniture, we're not just about furniture — we're about making life Fantastic. As one of Australia's leading furniture retailers, we take pride in creating value, comfort, and style for every home. We're now seeking an experienced Supply Planning & Inventory Manager to take the lead in driving inventory performance, supply efficiency, and product flow across our national network.
What You'll Do
As the Supply Planning & Inventory Manager, you'll ensure our stock arrives where it's needed, when it's needed — supporting store availability, supply efficiency, and operational excellence. You'll lead a small but high-performing team (Supply Planner & Inventory Supervisor) and work collaboratively with Merchandise Planning, Buying, Logistics, and Distribution to deliver exceptional results.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining supply plans aligned with merchandise and promotional calendars.
- Managing supplier performance and lead times to minimise disruption and ensure timely availability.
- Driving inventory optimisation across distribution centres and third-party warehouses.
- Leading national stocktake programs and driving accuracy in reporting and validation.
- Championing safety, compliance, and operational best practice across all inventory activities.
- Mentoring and developing your team to achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes.
What We're Seeking
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and can balance strategy with execution.
To succeed, you'll bring:
- 5+ years' experience in supply planning, inventory management, or demand forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach to cross-functional leadership.
- Proven ability to drive process improvement and deliver measurable results.
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Experience in furniture, homewares, or bulky goods retail will be highly regarded.
In Return, We Offer
- The opportunity to make a tangible impact in a business that values innovation and teamwork.
- Ongoing development through Fantastic's leadership and learning programs.
- A supportive, down-to-earth culture where your contribution is recognised.
- Staff discounts and access to wellbeing and community programs.
Join a company that believes in doing good — for our customers, our people, and our community.
